Who am I?

I quit my business job and fell into an internal dilemma. Who do I want to be? I asked friends if they felt the same push toward self discovery, and they did. There are friends getting married and buying homes and others single traveling the world. Some are starting businesses and me quitting my job to travel. All my friends stories inspired me to promote the authentic path. Who is to say you can’t do the thing that your heart is calling you to do?

After I quit my job I realized I forgot how to be playful and curious. I forgot how important it is to beheld by the ones you love and connect with local community. Let life be full of courage to take the path that connects with your authentic being. For me, the path has looked like slowing down, starting my first garden, and traveling to new locations. I hope this inspires you to travel to the place your heart is calling.

What is the Nest?

A Nest is a symbol of comfort and place to rest. The Nest is the place to prepare for an adventure. As a homebody I cherish my home and comfort, yet this does not have to contradict taking adventures. Let’s take the trips and return home to inspire our community. I want this to be a space of rest and discovery. I will share my recommendations to the places I have traveled and my experiences in each location along the way.
